@theredneckdiva How's the learning curve? I know enough Photoshop to get by, but I'd like to have something a bit less user-surly. #
@crazyfillyjonk And the new guy says "51!," gets no response, and an elder explains: "It's the way you told it." #

The place where my youngest daughter works just suspended the “all women must wear hosiery” rule. Of course there are times she still must, but in the south in the summer at least it’s not every day.
She’s working on getting the “no open toe shoes” rule removed next.

We’re way too casual at 42nd and Treadmill to have such rules, but that’s the nature of the business.
I wonder, though, if there exists some sort of threshold beyond which open-toed shoes are simply inappropriate. Perhaps Secretary of State: I checked my small archive of Condi Rice photos, and there’s only one series in which she’s wearing anything sandal-like — and it dates from after she left office. (Nor can I imagine Hillary Clinton in anything other than simple monochrome almost-flats.)
As always, your mileage may vary.
