The Democrats hit the bricks
The Oklahoma Democratic Party is relocating from 40th and Lincoln to Bricktown. Chair Todd Goodman explains:
This location reflects the changing face — and the changing needs — of our party. We are looking to re-energize Democrats in this state, and I think moving to an office in probably the most exciting and diverse districts in our state will bring some excitement and energy to the party.
It will certainly give them greater visibility, at least at street level, than they have now.
Then again, I suspect a more mundane motivation: food. With Sleepy Hollow hors de combat again, the choice of eateries in that neck of the woods is decidedly limited: Jamil’s to the north, Grandy’s and Arby’s to the south.
The move takes place next month.
