What shoes do you wear to the Emmys?

This is another one of those Nike Air jobs by Cole Haan, a spiffed-up variation on the old huarache theme, in a color they call Vintage Silver. (The alternative, Fuchsia Patent, is just as spiffy.) It’s a four-inch heel with a one-inch platform, so it supposedly feels like a mere three inches. Says Mary:
I’ve been wearing these shoes with jeans to work a couple of times a week and they truly are comfortable — I know they don’t look it, you’ll just have to trust me.
Zappos sells these for $332, but they’re about 40 percent off at the moment.
Oh, and that Emmy? She won.

I actually love those!!! I generally think high heels are pretty, but I have never been able to wear them because they’re just not comfortable. I might be able to do them now, though, after losing a hundred pounds. :)
