    Perhaps the fact that I like arugula makes me an effete snob (sometimes I miss Spiro Agnew) but I have to say that romanesco, which I suspect is considered an equally precious food choice, smells much worse when forgotten in a warm place. Don’t ask me how I know. I recommend keeping it out of the vents of your Prius as well. Perhaps a sturdier reusable canvas shopping bag.
