I blame the red glare

It was 33-33 after the first quarter. After that, the number 3 became frightening: the Rockets put up twenty 3-pointers, and eleven of them actually connected. That’s 55 percent, which is better than they shot from inside the arc. The final was Houston 105, Oklahoma City 85, despite Russell Westbrook’s utter lack of selfishness: he dished up nine assists and took only eight shots. And Serge “There Must Be A Nickname For This Guy” Ibaka managed to foul out for the second time in five games.

It’s a back-to-back: from Houston tonight to Austin tomorrow, for a matchup with the Spurs. UT alum Kevin Durant ought to enjoy himself.

Exhibitions can be anywhere. The Thunder had an exhibition last week against the Miami Heat in Tulsa. (Think of it as reinforcing a bit of the market area: Austin is even closer to S.A. than Tulsa is to OKC.)
