This ballet flat — I figured that I probably should do some sort of flat, after this little outburst — is Bouillon by ECCO in Ascot Suede, one of eight variations on this theme. The button doesn’t really button, of course, but it’s sorta cute, and the shoe isn’t really flat: there’s about one inch of rise, front to back.
