As reported in a cephalopodcast

And to think I used to complain about fishnets:

Textured plus octopus

Then again, I suppose from certain angles they seem a tad Lovecraft-y.

    Heh.

There’s also an old Japanese legend (it’s fairly blush-inducing, so I’m not going to summarize it here) about an octopus and a fisherman’s wife. (The fisherman, apparently, spending too much time at sea.)

Perhaps I’m admitting too much but if I was 20 and had cute legs I’d want a pair of those. (mainly just to see how many people I could freak out) I might wear them with red shoes.

I’m pretty sure I’d freak if I saw these on someone. (Because I’d have to look, and then I’d see it, and then the brain would go into ZOMG mode or something.)

I had a look at a fair number of fishnets tonight, and they should not be worn when you have tattoos on any part of your leg covered in the fishnets that are visible. Cross purposes, so to speak.

These on the other hand look kind of cool. Nay, very cool.
