Fallen angel?

She was 36 at the time. Anna Nicole, I mean.
She would have been 42 today. I have to think she’d still be with us if she were still just plain Vickie Hogan from Texas, although she was never really “just plain.”

Sometimes I think, “It would be nice to be famous, to have the adoration of hundreds people I’ve never even met.” Then I think of people like Smith, and I decide that maybe being an obscure professor at a small regional college isn’t so bad after all.
Sad to think that I’m now older than she will ever get to be. And I’m not that old, in the grand scheme of things.
