I didn’t even notice the toe bumps— because that’s how almost all my shoes look… it’s not easy being a size 11.

Pirates can be very fickle about their shoes/boots/clothes.
But they’re all different and it depends on the pirate.
I’m sure there is some pirate somewhere that would
really like the red pumps. Sort of brings Cyril Ritchard
to mind.

Augh. Those toe bumps ruin what would otherwise be a fairly nice shoe.

Also, I’m sure it makes fitting them harder. If your toes aren’t exactly like the toes upon which the shoes were modeled, you’re going to get blisters.

The pirate boots on the same page: I doubt any self-respecting pirate would wear those.
