He probably thinks this post is about him

According to the new biography Star: How Warren Beatty Seduced America, by Peter Biskind, the Actor Formerly Known As Bulworth has bedded, in succession, 12,775 women, “a figure that does not include daytime quickies, drive-bys, casual gropings, stolen kisses and so on.”

This figure apparently is open to debate; it seems rather high to me, though anything with two digits seems rather high to me.

I do hope he’s had his shots, or whatever one takes these days.

Nope, not buying it. Let’s say he had, on average, one unique woman a day. This is a generous estimate since it doesn’t count for periods of monogamy, days when he had the flu or was on a set for a 20 hour day (which I’m told was usual when he was acting and directing at the same time.)

So 12,775 divided by 365 days in a year equals 35 years. Assuming he started at age 22, that puts him at 57 when his “lothario career” ended — which is about the age he was when he married Annette Benning and, by all accounts, gave up his evil ways.

But it doesn’t factor in the account of some of his lovers, most notably Joan Collins, who said he routinely had sex with his partners 7 or 8 times a night. So I’m assuming my one unique lover a night estimate is about all he could handle.

Unless Warren Beatty is an android.

When I was a teenager the usual line was that the more conquests one claimed, the fewer one has actually had. If Beatty is paying a publicist to inflate his total, he might need to sleep with 12,000 women just to lose his virginity.
