Patches, I'm depending on you

I'm not quite sure what this is all about (cross-site scripting vulnerabilities?), though looking at the actual files involved does offer a clue or two. Apparently Kevin Aylward was one of the folks who spotted a security hole early on, and I thank him for his attention to the matter; I just finished installing this thing, which wasn't particularly difficult.

Of course, what they (meaning Six Apart) presumably really want me to do is upgrade to 3.33, and geez, I only just got around to putting in 3.2.

I had been using version one of Adobe's Creative Suite, mainly Photoshop, and it's stable and useful. I figured, there's not much they can really do to justify another upgrade fee. But I started using the latest version at a Manhattan studio, and damn if it wasn't a whole level better. Surely THIS will be the last upgrade they can figure a way to sell.

But just as surely I know it won't. Welcome back my friends, to the show that never ends. I'm resigned to it, I just wish there was a way to Command-Z (undo) mmistakes I've made in life. Now, THAT would be an upgrade.

Of course, unlimited levels of Undo require a whole lot of memory.

(Also in Photoshop.)

Hmmm. The patch seems to have brought an incremental version-number increase: MT is now showing version 3.21.
