Bring on the eyebleach

Back in the early days of the Web, there was general agreement that this was the nastiest-looking piece of HTML abuse on planet Earth.

Now I'm not so sure. (Warning: Readers have reported browser malfunctions while loading this page.)

Words fail me. Hell, HTML, JavaScript and PHP fail me. How could anyone countenance a page that looks like either of those monstrosities?

They're jokes, aren't they? Hmmm? Reassure us, please!

Ah, yes. Animated gif backgrounds. Gotta love myspace for bringing back the heyday of geocities.

Good grief, that almost crashed my computer.

Should I post a warning?

I think a warning would be apropos. I know *I* really hate it when a Web page locks up my browser so bad I have to give it the three-finger salute.
