Clams got sorrow
Cartoonist Johnny Hart, who created the B.C. comic strip in 1958, has died at his home in Nineveh, New York at the age of seventy-six.
Today's strip seems somehow appropriate.

Sad... B.C. was one of the best comic strips. Always a lesson to be learned while being entertained...
I tried and failed to come up with a title riffing on the clams thing. Yours is better than anything I could have come up with anyway.
When someone like Hart dies I think about Groucho's story about his encounter with a priest:
Priest: "I'd like to thank you for the joy you've brought into this world."
Groucho: "And I'd like to thank you for the joy you've taken out of this world."
