2 August 2007Okay, now you can mind the bollocksYou ain't woman enough, says Faith Hill, to take my man's nutsack:
When a ballsy female concertgoer reached out and grabbed Tim McGraw's nether regions Saturday at the Cajundome in Lafayette, Louisiana, his missus told the errant fan in no uncertain terms that that sort of behavior is frowned upon in them there parts (no pun intended).
"Somebody needs to teach you some class, my friend," a finger-wagging Hill told the woman. "You don't go grabbin' somebody else's, somebody's husband's [privates], you understand me? That's very disrespectful!" Take it easy, Faith. Sit a spell. Breathe. (Via Hecklerspray.) Posted at 6:27 AM to DyssynergyWhen women are good, they're so good. And when they're bad, they're so damn tacky. Posted by: Kate at 11:26 AM on 2 August 2007What about ass-grabbing? That still cool? I seem to have misplaced my book on Southern etiquette. We should be hearing from McGehee any minute on this. Posted by: Mister Snitch! at 12:17 PM on 2 August 2007We should be hearing from McGehee any minute on this. Any woman grabbing my junk won't have any hands free to defend herself against my wife. Posted by: McGehee at 11:23 PM on 2 August 2007I have to disagree, CG. I think Faith is dead-on right. Well, on this, anyway. (If memory serves, she leans left otherwise.) I've long maintained that the reason a**holes proliferate is because good people do nothing when confronted with them. When some maniac in an "Ultimate Driving Machine" weaves across four lanes of traffic to cut you off, don't just sit there, BLOW YOUR HORN! Maybe if the got called on their outrageous behavior more often, fecktards would be less willing to pull that kind of crap. M Posted by: Mark Alger at 10:24 AM on 3 August 2007I'm with Mark. Well, I'm not *with* Mark. But we do agree on this. Posted by: Kate at 10:35 AM on 3 August 2007I have no problem with calling feckwits on their outrageous behavior, but inasmuch as this particular incident was, I suspect, instigated by a person who is intent on worming her way into the spotlight no matter what, I'm not persuaded that the denunciation she got, justified as it was, would have any particular effect on her. Posted by: CGHill at 11:45 AM on 3 August 2007Why isn't Kate with Mark anymore? Posted by: Mister Snitch! at 3:12 AM on 5 August 2007They agreed on only the one thing.
