31 December 2007A multiple-choice questionEXTRA CREDIT (10 points): You discover that you know absolutely nothing about multivitamins. Commendably, you seek to remedy this situation. Which of the following scenarios presents you with the best opportunity to do so?
Caution: This may or may not be a trick question. Posted at 5:50 PM to Wastes of OxygenWho says humor based on shared experiences is dead? Posted by: McGehee at 6:18 PM on 31 December 2007Someone with any sense should select 'B', as a filibuster lasts at least an hour. Problem is that there are too many people with absolutely no sense. I'll go out on a limb and guess that you just got behind some old bitty who hogged the drive-thru with stupid questions that should have necessitated going inside. Posted by: Dan B at 6:48 PM on 31 December 2007What I really like (he said sarcastically) are the people who drive up to the ATM and perform 27 transactions using 14 different ATM cards, each of which has to be separately retrieved from a different holding place after the immediately preceding transaction has been completed and the card, receipt, and cash (if any) from that transaction have all been painstakingly put away in their respective holding places. Usually with about a 30-second stare at a to-do list while the individual tries to remember which of the tasks he/she just completed so as to know which is next. Invariably, the discovery of what kind of ATM customer I've pulled in behind, occurs only after seven or eight other would-be drive-up ATM users have trapped me in line and prevented me from bailing out to use the utterly deserted walk-up ATM at the front of the bank.
