I found this picture at the Oklahoma super-blog Dustbury. Even if this is a photoshop creation, it's still pretty damn funny. The only things that would make the picture more funny is if Grant Johnston were the weatherman or if it were snowing in Penns......[read more]

Now that is funny.

Yea and verily, evennn. Here in River City, it started sneeting at about quarter-to-nine. By noon, there was 1.5-2 inches of unflavored SlushPuppie on the ground. Fortunately, all of the sedans stayed home, so we with 4WD had the streets to ourselves.

Presently (1:15 EST), it is raining. The temp is predicted to peak at around midnight somewhere in the low-to-mid 30s and drop from there -- with constant rain all night.

I'm betting that by the time the snow starts tomorrow morning, there'll be a nice thick glaze coating of ice on everything. The snow will turn that into marzipan.

We may even get a snow day off on Monday. Woo-hoo!

Of course, I'm working on a DIY home improvement project this weekend, so may have to choose between Iditarodding it to the Home Despot or bagging the project (likely in a half-done state).

::sings:: I'm dreaming of a white Christmas!

Didn't you also saw what's hidden behind the apple @Neo?

Actually, that mug was ordered off Cafepress, but I suppose that if I should run into any bloggers who have schwag to vend, I should probably offer to take some of it off their hands.
