27 December 2007Try ordering a Shirley TempleCarol Smaglinski reports in the Gazette:
Dr Irene Lam, manager of the historic Gold Dome on NW 23rd Street, has announced the name of the restaurant in the Gold Dome that should be open for business in February.
It will be called the Prohibition Room Restaurant and Lounge. Apparently the Dome is historic enough to merit a Wikipedia page. (Disclosure: I performed some exceedingly minor edits on that page; you know they're minor because it doesn't sound anything like me.) Still: the Prohibition Room? Then again, construction on the Dome was begun in 1958; Oklahoma was still dry, and would remain so another year.
