6 February 2008Some time todayVisitor number 1,500,000 should drop by. It took 99½ months to get the first half a million; 20½ to get the second; just under 23 to get the third. (I've never quite gotten back up to the heady traffic levels of 2005.) Still, the numbers I used to get in a month in 2001 (and in a year before that) are numbers I get in a week today. Now if only I had some content for all these folks to read.... Update, 6:28 pm: Someone local, yet, off a Cox IP and running Mac OS X and who apparently has me bookmarked. Imagine that. Posted at 7:01 AM to BlogorrheaContent? Hey, compared to some of us, you're downright prolific! Posted by: Tam at 7:50 AM on 6 February 2008Congrats, Chuck! I'm glad to be a regular visitor, even if I am only a statistic. ;) (I can call you Chuck, can't I?) Posted by: MikeH at 7:53 AM on 6 February 2008I'm more like rib than chuck. (More fat.) Posted by: CGHill at 10:12 AM on 6 February 2008Content? You doth protest too much. On another note, I've been curious if Sitemeter captures visits from Google Reader - which I use. Posted by: Jeffro at 12:30 PM on 6 February 2008So far as I know, it does not pick up anything feed-ish. Posted by: CGHill at 1:04 PM on 6 February 2008Congratulations! Well done and well deserved! Posted by: Doug Dawg at 4:54 AM on 7 February 2008Hey, that's me! No, not really. But the description fits. But I wasn't on Dustbury at 6:28. :-( Congrats on the susquemegavisit. Posted by: Dan at 11:23 PM on 7 February 2008One and a half million people visit Charles' place and not a single fire code violation. Congrats! Posted by: mike at 1:43 PM on 9 February 2008It's not like they were all crammed in here at the same time. :) Posted by: CGHill at 2:14 PM on 9 February 2008 |
