23 April 2008Brad boosts BarryGovernor Brad Henry has decided not to wait until the convention to declare his choice for the Democratic presidential nomination: this morning the Guv announced for Barack Obama, giving the Illinois Senator one more superdelegate. Said Henry:
"Senator Obama is uniquely positioned to unite our nation and move beyond the divisiveness and partisan skirmishes that too often characterize politics as usual in Washington."
This gives Obama three of the ten superdelegates from Oklahoma; Senator Clinton has one, and the rest remain undeclared. (Of the regular delegates, Clinton has 24, Obama 14.) Posted at 8:02 AM to Political Science Fiction , Soonerland |
