The Finch Formerly Known As Gold

Life is so unfair at times

I mean, if you can't trust people buying drugs, you can't trust anyone, right?

Deputies arrested a Hammond [Louisiana] man Friday after he allegedly called to report that someone stole the drugs he was selling, the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office reported.

Cedrick Riley Sr., 23, told deputies that he was trying to sell drugs when his would-be customers hit him across the head with a gun, tied him up and robbed him of his illicit merchandise near a gas station on University Avenue and Puma Drive in Hammond, said a statement from the Sheriff's Office.

After the interview, deputies arrested Riley on two outstanding warrants from the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office. He was booked into the Tangipahoa Parish Jail in Amite and is being held for Livingston authorities, deputies said.

Cedrick Riley Jr. was presumably unavailable for comment.

Cedrick Riley Jr. was presumably unavailable for comment.

When he's old enough to comment, he'll be sensibly unavailable to post bail.
