Review

The triangle is one of the humbler geometric figures: pick three non-collinear points and you’ve defined one. You’ve also — at the same time! — defined a circle, which should tell you that there’s a lot more to the triangle than just your vague memory of Pythagoras. Rigorously mathematical — it’s pure straightedge-and-compass stuff — yet deeply affecting, this book serves as a reminder that complexity is simply not attainable without attention to simplicity.
