Kabuling up a comparison
What's the difference between democracy in Afghanistan and democracy in Oklahoma?
According to Mike at Okiedoke, it's about 9 to 1.
More precisely, 18 to 2.

Hrm. Well, it's a nice thought but realistically speaking, Karzai was pretty much it in Afghanistan.
Trust me, Bush is pretty much it in Oklahoma.
Still, I remain persuaded that even if the "minor" candidates don't have much of a shot, they don't have any shot if they don't get on the ballot, and Oklahoma does its best to make it difficult for them to get there.
