I normally don't plug musical events up here, especially musical events a day's drive away, but this one, I think, deserves a mention.
Twenty-four bucks in advance, twenty-seven on the show date, but there's a good reason to show up a day early besides saving $3: one of LaFlamme's vintage violins from the Sixties will be offered at a silent auction in the Association's Daniels Hall starting that Friday, with the proceeds donated to the Swallow Hill Music School. David describes the instrument as "German made in excellent condition, with bow & case."
