Birdman: still out
In January, Hornets forward Chris "Birdman" Andersen was suspended from the NBA for two years for a violation of the league's drug rules. The Players' Association filed a grievance; today the arbitrator upheld Andersen's suspension.
Andersen can apply to be reinstated in January 2008. Under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, half his $3.5 million annual salary counts toward the Hornets' salary cap, even though he's not actually being paid.Posted at 8:15 PM to Net Proceeds
