Be careful how you put these on

It’s a shoe called “Mobius”:

Mobius Wedge by United Nude

United Nude (!) issues this not-really-a-wedge in several heights and colors, at prices generally $100-200. Women I know with a grounding in mathematics will spurn this shoe because (1) it’s pricey for something so minimal and (2) it’s not really a Möbius strip, now is it? Well, no, it’s not. However, this is.

If that weren’t so high and didn’t threaten to kill me and cost $50 less I’d buy that in a minute. It’s very cool.

Is there a weight limit on that thing? Because I cannot believe that that little tiny “strap” thing at the back would support anyone bigger than your standard supermodel.

And yes, it’s NOT a moebius. Not that anyone in the fashion industry probably cares, but some of us out here still do.

(There are patterns for moebius scarves out there. They are not as goofy looking as you would think. The Klein Bottle Hat, however, is)
