Five years from now

This assumes, arguendo, that (1) there will be a “now” five years from now and that (2) I will be around to see it.

    a) as long as you don’t switch to Twitter completely
    b) I imagined you saying all that to an interviewer, to an infamous “where do you see yourself in 5 years-span?” question. uh-oh.

That was the approach I used writing it, actually. Which explains both the style, or lack thereof, and the relatively few divergences from the topic.

The thought of people providing for the “perpetual care” of websites in their wills…kind of like eccentric old ladies for their lapdogs…is both touching and a bit macabre.

OTOH, I think I’d prefer a sort of dead-man’s switch that would immediately wipe all evidence of my existence from the Web (other than, I don’t know, maybe genealogy sites or something) the moment my spirit left this plane of existence.
