I park, therefore I am

First things first:

See also Jerry Reed: “Well, if the Lord that made the moon and the stars / Woulda meant for you and me to have cars / He’d-a seen that we was all born with a parking space.”

Patdon me. The sign grabbed my attention so much I didn’t notice the title of the post. Does that mean I have to pay an additional parking/existing fee?

For what it’s worth, the working title was something else; I changed it something like 30 seconds before publication. I conclude from this that there are more things in heaven and earth than are thought of in my philosophy.

So that’s why everybody’s clamoring to be validated!

Only death and taxes are certain, and apparently you can be taxed without even being born.

This strangely reminds me of my graduate studies experience at San Diego State University where anyone can buy a parking permit, but few can actually find an empty space. When I was there, SDSU had about 35,000 students and 11,000 parking spaced, yet they kept on selling those permits. It was sort of “I park, therefore I really exist as an SDSU student!”

Sounds like your typical Big University.
