You heard it here third

Possibly second, but definitely not first:

If Donald Trump secures the Republican nomination for President, the media will close ranks both on the news side and on the advertising side — and the only pro-Trump stories or ads that will ever see the light of day will be the ones that make him (and Republicans in general) look the most ridiculous, and Hillary look the most sympathetic.

With Ted Cruz exhibiting withdrawal symptoms, we should be able to see examples of this phenomenon Real Soon Now.

So your governor shows on lists of VP candidates for Trump? What thinkest thou?

The one thing in her favor is that she’d presumably leave the state for a while if Trump wins. I don’t think she adds a great deal to the GOP ticket, no matter who’s at the top of it; she does get points for party loyalty, but there are sharper tools in the shed.

Getting points for party loyalty in the Trump Era wouldn’t appeal to any particularly sharp tools.

True that. Still, Fallin is making noises to the effect that she’s interested in the job, and maybe there are some people out there who vote based on chromosomes.

Why not? They’re all voting Democrat anyway, so why not give them two chromosomally correct tickets to choose from?

I have no idea how Fallin and her leadership style are viewed outside this state, but I find myself wondering if Trump isn’t considering seriously who might make him most “assassination proof” from among the possible choices…..

‘Cos yeah, I’m sure there are people who would consider taking out a President Trump other than via the ballot box, no matter how much upheaval that might cause.

There was some speculation along those lines in my tweetstream today, although the more popular discussion seemed to be “Who would be most likely to get President Trump killed?” Winner: Oprah.

I’m trying to think what the content of a pro-Trump article would be. He seems to me nothing but an entitled, bombastic bully, and scary.

entitled, bombastic bully, and scary.…and a Dem in Rep’s clothing.
definitely friend of the clintons,a contributor to her “funds”, a crony capitalist and a country-club chauvinist.
