At least it doesn’t taste like chicken

I’m not entirely sure I understand this particular sales pitch:

One thing we might actually know: the fish you got at Wally World is a boy, not a girl.

Commercially grown tilapia are almost exclusively male. Being prolific breeders, female tilapia in the ponds/tanks will result in large populations of small fish.

Instead of more-or-less stable populations of larger fish.

Traditionally, the Catholics have given it a pass, but I am not persuaded that the Walton family is at all interested in the ecclesiastical aspects of dinner.

Not sure a vegetarian or vegan would give it a pass though.

“Nothing with a face,” according to a possibly apocryphal rule of thumb for vegans.

I’ve known vegans who didn’t even consume honey – no product from an animal or made by an animal that didn’t have the option of giving its consent to having its labor exploited. (Or that’s how it was explained to me.)

Yep. A lot of people assume “meat” only comes from animals, but I actually support the view that all animal flesh is meat.

    Tasty, tasty meat.
