Alphabet commands

Alphabet, you may remember, owns Google, and Google, at least as far as Google is concerned, owns all of us who own a Web site. I may have to obey, but I don’t have to like it.

    Just got HTTPS operating (somewhat) correctly here, also thanks to “Let’s Encrypt”. Never was able to completely work out what was doing what, between what few WordPress plugins I use and multiple different .htaccess files for each corner of the family website.

    I was up to about 1100 files fixed before somebody’s Trojan decided to intrude, and I spent the next two hours trying to dispose of it. Not helpful.
