Simulated tripods

After the Reese Witherspoon Photoshop incident, I got to wondering how one would deliberately render an image of a three-legged woman. I betook myself to deviantArt, and happened upon a wealth of examples.

Elsewhere, there was this promo from the “Freak Show” season of American Horror Story:

Now that’s kinda creepy.

The second one creeps me out the most, I think because she looks more like an “everyday” person than the other models.

There are a lot of these, and my major objection to most of them is lack of symmetry: two left feet, or, if they can dance, two right feet. I found only one that didn’t have this issue: the foot on the center leg had seven toes, the big one being in the middle. Still, that was creepy for other reasons.

Never mind the three legs; I suddenly want tights with two different color legs. Or maybe leggings. I could make those. Hmmmm….

You went to deviant art for this? Gutsy.

I actually have a dA account, mostly to house the artwork that I commissioned for pony tales. But no, I don’t usually dig deep.
