For an oil and battery change like today, no biggie – I shlep along a book and wait. But I’m a little nervous what may happen when the supposed “recall replacement” of my faulty Takata passenger-side airbag happens, because I’m not the kind of person who is comfortable depending on the kindness (and rides) of relative strangers. Best case scenario is I can schedule it for one long day, get a ride back to school from them, and hopefully shanghai a colleague to drive me back to the dealer to collect it.
