Yeah. It's easy to know what authentic means when you contrast it with counterfeit, but that's not usually the issue with food, unless it's caviar or something.

I have a friend who scorns Tex-Mex, preferring el artículo genuino. Fortunately, there are enough more-Mex-than-Tex places around town to keep her happy.
