Naked politicking

A get-out-the-vote mailing from the American Association for Nude Recreation? But of course. Cut and pasted from my very own mailbox:

The upcoming presidential election has been called the most important election of our time, and everyone is encouraged to vote. Although political races at the state and local level are not getting as much media attention, they are just as important. It is these elected officials that can defend or try to set policy against nude recreation. AANR has a long history of informing and educating lawmakers about nudist concerns, and has provided assistance on pending or proposed legislation regarding issues that pertain to nude recreation.

AANR delegates have been a vocal presence at the National Conference of State Legislatures and the Council of State Governments. Members have notified the AANR Government Affairs Team of proposed legislation in their communities that might adversely affect their right to enjoy nude recreation in appropriate settings.

Remember, on November 4, your vote counts!

It occurs to me that I have no idea where the presidential candidates stand on this issue, and maybe I don’t really want to know.
